Sociology of Medicines & Health

Beyond the field of ‘Pharmaceuticals & Society’, John Abraham has supervised some doctoral students working on inequalities in health.

John also created, designed, convened, taught, and assessed an advanced undergraduate course in Sociology of Medicines & Health every year from 1995-2012 at the University of Sussex during which he delivered 10 lectures and 10/20 seminars each year. From 1995 onwards, John designed the course to cover the following material:
